The Art of Communication Is the Language of Leadership

Communication, oral as well as written, forms the essence of learning. Students are encouraged to express themselves with clarity and confidence right from the junior classes. Literary clubs (Hindi and English), School Library Club, Heritage Club, Eco-Club and various school events along with regular assemblies, Youth Parliament, MUN Sessions, and Language Lab Activities etc. provide ample opportunities to students to polish their communicative and creative skills. Students debate, recite, role play, write articles, compose poems, conduct quiz, present Radio Shows, take up Projects and presentations, participate in Inter-School Competitions and undertake beyond classroom programmes to refine their oratory and writing skills to express themselves effectively. We insist on mass participation in all our events.

The Pathway to Educational Excellence Lies Within the School

Our well-trained, motivated and progressive team of teachers form an effective procedure for teaching-learning process. Blending teaching with technology, our teachers touch minds and hearts of our students. Plan, Prepare, Perform – form the basic steps.

Feedback, follow ups and reviews by senior teachers maintain quality and standard. They are sent for workshops and trained to be “Master Trainers.” Motivational Peer training and Interactive sessions pave way for an efficient teacher system.

Teacher appraisals are done with feedback, face to face talks and filling in of confidential reports, along with observations from Heads of Department and the finally the comments of the Principal. The efficient teacher system is thus a collective process.

Education is Widening of Knowledge, Absorbing the Truth about Life and Coping with Every Challenge
Life itself is an examination. Preparing for life is what concerns us the most. Empowering students with life skills, infusing emotional stability, developing right thinking, empathy and futuristic vision is what we work upon. Preparing for examinations is a part of our “Education in Totality.”

Relation with the Parents of Students

We, at Hansraj have always shared a very meaningful long lasting relationship with Parents. The school stands firm on the trilogy of Teachers-Parents-Students. Parents who send their kids to our school look not just for their progress and academic excellence but also look towards empowering them with ideals of Vedic Culture and Values of Arya Samaj. Due to this, our alumni and aware parents, opt for admission in this school. I am proud to say all our parents are co-operative and always very appreciative of our ventures in imparting holistic education. They have always supported our community outreach programmes.

We Don’t Grow When Things Are Easy, We Grow When We Face Challenges

Running a public school with a student strength of nearly 6500 and teacher strength of 300+ is an everyday challenge. Preparedness, alertness, good decision making and quick actions form the core strategy to cope up with challenges. Shouldering responsibility of young students entrusted to our care and keeping them safe is a challenge in itself. Innumerable factors are beyond our control in day to day fast paced life.

Disaster Management drill, speedy evacuation practice, CCTV Cameras, constant monitoring of students in classes and buses etc. go a long way in ensuring security and safety for our students.

Priyanka reflects, “I assess the performance of my school by the difference we have made in the lives of our students. It is the index of the achievements of our students and how much they have benefited from the school. It is not the things we get, but the hearts we touch, that will measure our success in life.”
